Well we survived the chicken pox. With her thin hair and her pox Brenda looks like someone from one of nuclear bomb movies. She is now just one big scab. She is felling much better and is starting to sleep again. Hooray!! Thank you to my mom for all of her help this week. I would not have survived without her. She came over almost daily to help her sleep deprived daughter. She is so awesome! Love ya mom!
The football party is finished and all went well. No more football until next year. I thought this week would be easier but the kids I tend will be coming at 4:30 am everyday this week. So much for catching up on sleep. Oh well, I am just glad my baby is feeling better.
Love to all who help me through life.

My Baby woke up this morning with the chickenpox. How that happened we do not know. She has not come in direct contact with anyone that has had them that I know of. I guess she won't have to get her shot in January. I feel so bad for her. She does seem to be doing okay. The only one she will not leave alone is the one on her eye. They make me itchy! Those lovely childhood diseases. It has only just began!

You got to love that lovely pink calomine lotion!

I survived watching Brenda learn to crawl it was a sad day but we got through it. But now she is begining to stand up in the middle of the floor and can also climb up the stairs from the laundry room to the family room. That is a long way. Wahhh! She is changing way to fast. She loves it. Everytime she does something new she just looks at you and grins as if to say ha ha! She is so dang cute.
Saturday we went with Audrey, Jennie, Becky and family to the Young Living Farm. Some kind of fall festival. It was fun. It really hit me that McNeil is becoming a teenager. Wow I could have left him in the car and he would have had just as much fun. It was fun to spend time with everyone though. I did get to take some cute pictures of McNeil and Brenda by this little stream. I will try to down load one if I can.

I have to say I am very excited to write this, "The football season is over!" The team was 0 and 6 but they learned a lot and had a good time for the most part. They went to the playoffs because there were only four teams. They lost their game but it was the best game they had al season. They held the other team to one touchdown. They played hard and McNeil had 11 tackles. He did Awesome and his foot is still in one piece. It was fun for Kaleb, Colton, and Mac to play on the same team. The only thing left is the Pro-Bowl and then we will never have to deal with the NYFL again. Next year we will be in a different league. It was fun to watch the boys learn and progress. They got started as a team about a month after the other teams so they did not get near as much practice time with each other. But they did well considering.
I just got onto facebook and I am not really sure what I am supposed to do there. But I guess I can send messages to people. I wish I was more computer savvy. I am slowly learning. It would help if our pc was not slower than tar.
Looking forward to winter at least for now. I know I will get sick of it quickly but I can't wait for the snow to cover up my brown grass and kill my weeds. It is always nice to start with fresh green weeds in the spring.
Love to all who read this.
P.S. I am sure glad that Kaitlyn and Kincade are ok!

Howdy from the land of Spanish Fork. Where the grass is turning brown and the yard is taking a turn for the worst. We were doing so well on the yard. Our neighbors were so HAPPY! The sod we put in did great on the north side of the yard. The south side not so much. I don't know why that side of the yard will not cooperate and grow. Well better luck next year. I have been very busy lately. I started babysitting again. Even though I said never again. It has nothing to do with liking children. I love kids! But it sure does tie you down. I feel bad having to divide my attention between the kids I tend and my sweet Brenda. But I guess it is an easy way to make some extra money! So I stopped ignoring those not so subtle promptings (as much as I wanted to) and decided to give it another go. There is one major draw back, 4:30 and 5:30am comes awfully early. But we are surviving.
I spent 2 or 3 days a couple weeks ago with Melisa and Heather at my mom's canning salsa. We ended up with 130 something pints/quarts. Then this week Heather, my mom, and myself canned 66 quarts of tomatoes and my mom and I did Grape jelly that decided it really wanted to be syrup instead. It sure is good with waffles and vanilla icecream.
It all took some work and time, but I love working and being with my mom and sister-in-laws. We can sometimes get very silly but it is great. I am so greatful for them and the love and support we give to one another. They are awesome. I am very lucky to have them.
It seems that lately most everyone I know is having some sort of trial in their life. Including myself. I am sure it is a sign of the times and the way the world is. It sure is difficult to be positive sometimes. But I know that we can make it through anything if we just have faith. I know that if we stick together as a family and remember why we are here. We will make it. I know I have a long way to go when it comes to doing all the things that I need to do but I know I will get there. I hope things get better for all of my family. I wish I could fix everything but if it were that easy we would not need to be here. I have to keep reminding myself of my Dad's example. Things were not easy for him, not saying that he was perfect, but he really was a good example of enduring to the end. He was a pretty positive guy for all the things he had to go through. I want to be just like him.
Well enough of that!
Brenda is starting to discover many things. She loves to play with anything with buttons and lights. She is great at turning off the TV during Mac's programs. She is only nine months but what a tease. She can get anywhere she wants to go and is getting very fast. She can not always get out of places but she can sure get into things.
Mas is doing great as always. I could not ask for a better kid. He has a hard time with his dish duty and cleaning up after himself but he is a great kid. He is so tall I hardly feel like I can call him a kid. I have to look up to talk to him. He also has a great spiritual connection. The things he understands about the gospel amaze me. It took me a lot longer, some things I am still trying to figure out. I just love him.
Hope all is well and wish everyone the best of everything!

Time for more info on the Millet clan. Things are going okay. Brenda has joined the mobile set, She is crawling all over the place. There is now a gate on the stairs. She pulled herself up to the couch the other day and I swear she looked at me and said "ha ha" She thinks she is so big.
McNeil is still loving Jr. High and is learning that it is very different from grade school. He has joined the drama club and against doctor's orders is playing football. It is almost over thank goodness! I love to watch him play but I am so afraid he is going to reinjure himself. So far so good.
Brandon is still working lots of hours and coaching football. We have changed vehicles. We are now driving a small mini van. Yeah!
I am babysitting again. I just don't know how to say no. But it is just temporary!? I think.
The kids are cute but they come at 4:30 am. Wow is that early! My house is suffering cause by 2:00 when the kids leave I am done. Hope anyone who reads this is doing well. Love you all!

Wow things can sure be boring at the Millet home. I never feel that there is much to say. I am up to my usual procrastination of my house work, however I can see the bottom of my dirty laundry cans. I know it will never be finished and that is why it is so hard to do. It is depressing. Same thing with the dishes. As soon as you get them all done somebody thinks they should eat again. I think in my worlds there will be disposable clothes and dishes. Can you imagine the environmentalists in my world!

Brenda had her first oreo the other day and thought that was pretty cool. Of course it was a Halloween oreo. Same as McNeil's first oreo. It makes for a better mess when the filling is orange. It is so fun to get to see all her firsts. She can now go from sitting to her hands and knees. She is not crawling yet but it will not be long. Man I have a lot of work to do!
McNeil is playing football against the doctors "suggestion" but they did not have enough players so Brandon and him are sacrificing for the Team. I did not really get a vote. I do like watching him play. I just hope he does not hurt his foot more. He sure does love it. In their last game he got two sacks. They lost but he played well.
Brandon is still working very hard. I am so grateful that he has a job but it is hard to watch him work so hard and be so tired. I sure do appreciate his willingness to work so hard for us. What a guy! He gets it from his parents.
Well that is all for now!
